Welcome to the 2010-2011 Season

Welcome to the 2010-2011 Season. On Monday at 6pm we begin the new season. For the last 6 months we’ve had a core group of volunteers working hard to prepare for the new season. You have met some of these people at sign ups, board meetings, equipment day, uniform fittings and master registration day. It’s amazing how much time these volunteers put in personally and willingly. All of us are excited and happy to start anew and look positively into the future of this league.

Communication:
Your first line of communication will be your Team AD. They are happy to answer any and all of your questions. We also try to maintain a very comprehensive website at www.coyfc.com . Most of the information is available here including a calendar and eventually all the game schedules. You can also follow us on twitter http://twitter.com/coyfc . Fundraising / Team Sponsorship:
Please remember to return your raffle ticket stubs to your team AD soon as possible. During the season teams will ask parents to participate in specific fundraising. These funds will be used for team specific needs. The COYFC leadership created guidelines for the operation of team fundraising. The team AD’s should explain why they are doing the extra fundraising. Teams are eligible to solicit corporate sponsors to help in fundraising. COYFC will not deduct or collect any fees from these sponsorships. Team AD’s have sponsorship letters if you need one.

Practice Location/ Home Games:
Our teams use the largest, cleanest and well lighted practice areas among our local youth sports. Please help us to keep our practice field clean. Also, absolutely no driving on the grass at any time. We are fortunate enough to use the Charter Oak High School football field on their brand new turf field so we need to make sure we are respectful of the property. COYFC runs a game snack bar. When you patronize our snack bar you support our league. We have one of the largest and fully stocked snack bars around. You can view our menu at: http://www.coyfc.com/SB/sb.htm.

COYFC Pancake Breakfast:
Come and join our annual pancake breakfast on Saturday 8/7 on the practice field from 9am to Noon. It’s a great time to socialize and get to know your team staff and Executive Board members. We hope to see you all there.
